As a college we are committed to playing our full role in the transition to a sustainable future:
- by working with Reading Borough Council to reduce our own
carbon emissions to net zero by 2030 - by ensuring all teachers feel supported to embed education for sustainability within their subjects
- by giving students the skills and confidence to enthusiastically grasp sustainable challenges at home, at work and in their communities.
Building on our established place-based approach, we will also look for opportunities to make connections, share our learning and collaborate with others in Reading and beyond for greatest impact. Below are some links to find out more about the college’s sustainability strategy and action plan along with details of
how sustainability is embedded in our decision-making and governance.
The ‘Sustainability news’ section, immediately below, is the place to look for updates and announcements.
