Your learning programme is all about you and your plans for the future. We will work with you to help you develop your knowledge, enhance your skills, and where appropriate gain nationally accredited qualifications.

We also focus on your next steps and will support you to prepare for progress to further education, employment or to maintain a healthy lifestyle, grow in confidence and self-esteem and/or provide more meaning and purpose in life.

New Directions College offers a range of formal and informal courses and Apprenticeships which are specially selected to meet the local needs of our learners, businesses and community. You can learn from home, join one of our online courses, attend classroom sessions or you can join one of our blended learning programmes, which provides a mix of both face to face and online delivery.

During COVID-19 your health and safety is of paramount importance and we have implemented a number of additional measures to deliver learning in a safe way, at all times.

Finally, if you need support to participate in education, either through learning support or help with childcare costs, course fees or course equipment, we can help. Our Additional Learning Support scheme aims to support eligible learners, so that barriers to learning are removed.

You have made a good choice when you learn at New Directions. 98% of our learners would recommend us to friends and family. They comment on how ‘welcoming and friendly’ the College is and particularly enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

We look forward to welcoming you to the College and helping you achieve your goals.

The Team at New Directions College.
