Ceramics Masterclass – Printing on Clay Course

This hands-on workshop introduces learners to creative surface design through printing on clay. Over four hours, participants will explore mono print techniques, layering, and collage to build rich textures and visual interest. They will experiment with mark-making, pattern, and composition, applying designs to slab-built forms such as plates or simple vessels. Emphasis is placed on playful experimentation and developing a personal visual language. By the end of the session, learners will transform their clay pieces with unique, expressive surfaces, gaining practical skills and confidence in combining printmaking with ceramics.
