The Big Draw Festival is back at New Directions College! We’re so excited to bring you an inspiring programme of activities on Tuesday 25th October at our main site at 330 Northumberland Avenue, RG2 8DH. Everyone is welcome to participate free of charge. We have a morning session running from 10am until 12 noon and an afternoon session running from 12.30 until 14.30pm. Children are welcome to attend but we ask that all children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult.

The Big Draw Festival is a worldwide celebration of drawing! Promoting the universal language of drawing as a tool for learning, expression, and invention.
The Festival is made up of a collection of thousands of creative events, activities, and workshops across the globe run by organisations big and small just like New Directions College!
The 2022 Big Draw Festival theme, #ComeBackToColour is a love letter to the world around us. It distils a desire and celebration of, what we all hope will be a return to more vitality, colour, health, care and vibrancy in everyone’s lives after a very challenging last few years. The devastation that the pandemic has wrought around the world coupled with ever-present and increasing threats on all fronts underline the need more than ever to nurture and cherish the places where joy, colour and freedom thrive. The colour of our lives and world around us is dazzling in its richness and diversity, if we only choose to slow down and look.
This is a great year to bring our community together through positive activism and creativity, and be part of The World’s Biggest community of drawing enthusiasts!
