Garment Making for Beginners/Intermediate Course

Term dates for 2021-22

Building upon the foundation laid in the beginners’ course, this 10-week programme allows learners to refine their garment-making skills and work with more complex designs. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, participants will develop their ability to create well-fitted garments using more challenging shop-bought patterns. The course covers advanced sewing techniques, precision in construction, and problem-solving skills to adjust and perfect garments. Learners will also gain confidence in evaluating their progress and making necessary adjustments. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to take on more ambitious sewing projects independently.
