Nerikomi Dish Course

This one-day workshop introduces you to the Japanese ceramic technique of Nerikomi, which involves layering and marbling coloured clays to create intricate, decorative patterns. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to prepare and layer different coloured clays to form striking, patterned designs. You’ll then shape and mould your dish, experimenting with both simple and complex patterns. The workshop is designed for all skill levels, offering a chance to explore the unique possibilities of Nerikomi in a fun, creative environment. By the end of the day, you’ll have your own beautiful, marbled ceramic dish which will be fired to collect at a later date.
