Fragments of Bayeux – Abstract Textiles Course

Using the Bayeux Tapestry as a starting point, participants will select and enlarge intriguing details before transforming them into contemporary abstract textile artworks. Working with found fabrics, layered surfaces and traditional Bayeux stitch, we will explore scale, texture and composition, reinterpreting historical imagery through a modern lens to create bold, personal stitched responses.
