A Work-Based Communication Skills & Mentoring Program for Adult Refugees living in Reading, in partnership with Thames Water.

Next start date: Tuesday 5th May 2026

New Directions College is working in partnership with Thames Water to support adult refugees residing in the Greater Reading area who are out of work, to find employment.

In this program, you’ll learn how to find employment in the UK, with support from Thames Water and New Directions College.

On the final day, you’ll have the chance to present your newly acquired skills at Thames Water.

The sessions will focus on enhancing your employability, including confidence building, CV writing, and interview preparation.

You’ll also receive a guaranteed job interview with Thames Water.
