Learner Surveys

We Asked, You Said, We Did!
In order to ensure that the service continues to meet the needs of local people we invite your views to help us improve our services.

In addition our funders also require learners to have a voice and for New Directions to show that customer opinions have been sought and acted upon.

Finally Ofsted who ensure we are meeting quality standards also want to ensure learners are consulted and have an impact on decisions made within the service.

In our latest Learner Satisfaction Survey 2016/17 New Directions scored 94.7%. Go to the Education & Skills Funding Agency web-site, https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/fe-choices for more details.

Community Advisors
Community advisors are people who want to make a positive contribution to adult education. They should live or work in the borough and have a keen interest in the success of post compulsory education.

We’re particularly keen to hear from people who’ve benefited from or know someone who has benefited from adult education. There isn’t one type of person best suited to helping and you don’t need a qualification to do so. The most important qualities are an interest in adult education and a desire to contribute to the life of New Directions.
