Fees for learning
Course fees are payable in full unless your course is fully or part-funded (see below).  We accept credit card payments or cash.   Our Fees policy can be viewed here Fees policy 18-19

Payment plan
For courses lasting at least 10 weeks and costing over £80.00, payment by standing order is available. You will need to pay 50% of the fee when you enrol and the remaining fees will be divided into four equal payments.

Other payment plans may be available for high value courses. Talk to our customer relations officers for more information on 0345 842 0012.

Funding for courses
Some accredited courses are fully funded (free of charge to the learner) or part-funded depending on your circumstances. If you are not eligible for full funding, financial assistance may be available to help cover course costs, material costs and help with the cost of childcare. New Directions provides support with the cost of Ofsted registered childcare for learners who attend courses which lead to a formal qualification. Contact newdirections@reading.gov.uk or call 0345 842 0012 for more details of or to apply.

Advanced Learner Loans
Advanced Learner Loans are offered by government to support the costs of tuition fees charged by colleges and training organisations.

Most learners aged 19 and over, studying at level 3 and above, will qualify for these new loans from the UK government. It’s easy to apply. Your household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit check. You won’t have to pay anything back until your income is over £25,000 a year.

Courses eligible for the Advanced Learner Loan will be shown with the official government logo.
